Naseer Ahmad discusses Meredith Kercher murder case and Amanda Knox’s upcoming trial in September

Naseer Ahmad is a holistic physician and writer based in Toronto, Canada. A keen social commenter, he has written about the case of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito as “Ergon” for the Perugia Murder File and True Justice For Meredith Kercher websites, as one of the editors of , and “manfromatlan” on Twitter.

Naseer Ahmad (aka Ergon, Manfromatlan) has been covering the Amanda Knox case from the beginning.  He has a wealth of knowledge about the events and the people involved.  He has played a part in the creation of websites which were created to present a balanced view of the Meredith Kercher murder case.

Soon after Amanda Knox was arrested in 2007 her father hired a public relations firm called Gogerty Marriott.  This PR firm began spreading misinformation in the media and online.  Paid supporters worked as trolls in social media, writing articles, and leaving commentaries in a show of support for Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito.  Certain trolls crossed the line and abused the vicitm’s family and others who feel that they are guilty.  Naseer is a favorite target of abuse by these Friends of Amanda Knox (FOAkers).

In this show we briefly discuss the history of the internet websites built around this case as well as the ensuing debates.   He also gives his opinions on the recent acquittal of Knox and Sollecito and the extensive delay in the release of the judges reasoning report.  Naseer also talks about what he expects in the future defamation trials that Amanda Knox has in September 2015 and Raffaele Sollecito has in May 2016.
