It is being reported on September 21, 2015 that the trial for two 12-year-olds who are charged with stabbing a friend 19 times has been delayed.  The two young girls were tried as adults but their lawyers want to move the trial to the juvenile courts.  The trial was scheduled to begin on October 15th but is now delayed pending a decision by the appeals court on whether they can be moved to juvenile court.

“Judge Michael Bohren announced he would take the cases against teenagers Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier off the October calendar.”  He also confirmed that the defendants would appear via video conferencing rather than be required to attend court in person.

One of the girls, Morgan Geyser,  is suspected of suffering from schizophrenia.  “Court documents say Geyser talks to Slenderman, sees the Harry Potter character Voldemort and lives in a world of fantasy.”

If the two 12-year-old stabbing suspects  are tried in the adult court system, they could face 65 years to life in prison.
