The physical evidence in any crime is the only way to know for certain what took place. In any violent crime scene, investigators may obtain a wealth of information from the blood stain patterns. The patterns reveal major clues and possibly solve crimes. Unlike the suspects, the blood patterns do not lie. This article introduces blood stain analysis followed by one of Italy’s top forensic experts opinion – Colonel Luciano Garofano on the blood stains in the Meredith Kercher murder case.
“BPA [Blood Pattern Analysis] provides information not only about what happened, but just as importantly, what could not have happened. This information can assist the investigator in reconstructing the crime, corroborating statements from witnesses, and including or excluding potential perpetrators from the investigation.”
When blood drops or splatters on a surface, the shape can be used to calculate the location of where someone was struck and in what direction.
The beginning of Rudy Guede’s interview with Franca Leosini on RAI 3 Italian show Storie Maledette (Cursed Stories) has been translated into English thanks to Eric Paroissien of http://www.perugiamurderfile.net.
Rudy Guede is the third person believed to be involved in the murder of Meredith Kercher along with Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito. “He apologized to the Kercher family for not doing enough to help their daughter, but also denied having murdered her, and protested he should not be the only one to pay the price of imprisonment for it. He demanded a retrial of the facts. This interview, viewed by 1.5 million households in Italy with a share of 5.32%, has now been picked up by 400+ media outlets world-wide.” While Knox and Sollecito were acquitted last year, Rudy Guede remains in prison.

Just days after Rudy Guede pointed the finger at him and Amanda Knox for being at the scene of the murder, Raffaele Sollecito announced in the news that he has filed a petition against the state of Italy. He is suing for half a million Euros claiming wrongful imprisonment. “The application was filed today at the Court of Appeal of Florence by his lawyers, Giulia Bongiorno and Luca Maori.”
Following the aftermath of Rudy Guede‘s sensational interview on Italian television show Storie Maledette (Cursed Stories), Raffaele Sollecito reacts as if he has been struck by lightning. The pony-tailed former prisoner announced in the press that he will seek payment for damages. This pronouncement was made even though Guede never explicitly stated Sollecito was there. Meantime Amanda Knox remains silent while her lawyer calls Rudy the “king of liars.”
Rudy Guede’s interview with Cursed Stories (Storie Maledette) aired on Italian television on Thursday night. According to Franca Leosini, Guede turned down many lucrative interview offers, choosing her show because of its professionalism and credibility. Many Italians tuned into the show and simultaneously turned to Twitter to tweet their opinions (#StorieMaledette). The general consensus was that Guede (pronounced Gwede) was impressive, believable and appeared more intellectual than Knox and Sollecito.
It is being reported on January 19, 2016 that Amanda Knox’s ex-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito is trying to shut down Rudy Guede’s interview. Rudy Guede spoke with Franca Leosini of the Italian television show Cursed Stories, set to air on January 21, 2016. But Sollecito’s lawyers, Giulia Bongiorno and Luca Maori have written a letter to the show’s producers threatening legal action if they broadcast Rudy’s interview.
It is being reported on January 18, 2016 that Rudy Guede says that he is innocent of the murder of Meredith Kercher. In a clear and concise manner, Guede states that there is no evidence of his DNA on the murder weapon or in the simulated break-in room. He goes on to say that he knew both Meredith Kercher and Amanda Knox but was more familiar with Knox. “‘I am the only one convicted. And I am certain of what I say, to 101 percent, because I got to know both girls, but mostly Amanda Knox .’ Finger pointing, in short, against Knox and Raffaele Sollecito, who the Supreme Court acquitted.”
It is being reported on January 16, 2016 that the Italian television show, Cursed Stories was snubbed by CNN when they tried to purchase 40 seconds of video of Amanda Knox. The footage was requested for their upcoming interview with Rudy Guede, the third suspect in the murder of Meredith Kercher.
It is being reported on January 14, 2016 that the Italian courts in Florence have acquitted Amanda Knox of slandering the police. Knox was facing an additional two years and eight months in prison for accusing the police of “pressures and mistreatment.” Knox claimed that the police abuse caused her to falsely accuse her former Congolese boss, Patrick Lumumba of murdering Meredith Kercher.
