It is being reported on January 19, 2016 that Amanda Knox’s ex-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito is trying to shut down Rudy Guede’s interview. Rudy Guede spoke with Franca Leosini of the Italian television show Cursed Stories, set to air on January 21, 2016. But Sollecito’s lawyers, Giulia Bongiorno and Luca Maori have written a letter to the show’s producers threatening legal action if they broadcast Rudy’s interview.
Rudy Guede, the third person charged with the murder of Meredith Kercher and the only one serving a prison sentence has decided to break his silence almost decade after the crime. “The Ivorian native is serving his sentence of 16 years in prison in Viterbo, Italy. For the Italian justice he is the only one responsible for the death of the girl killed nine years ago and now, Guede, entrusts his confession to Leosini Franca, a journalist who interviewed him for the TV show ‘Cursed Stories.'” He is expected to describe his version of what happened the night Meredith Kercher was brutally killed.
Raffaele’s lawyers wrote a letter to the show’s RAI headquarters informing them that they will file slander suits against the media company should Rudy say anything untrue about Raffaele. Sollecito, who went back and forth for eight years on whether or not Amanda Knox was really with him the night that Meredith was murdered, has made it clear through his legal team that he will not tolerate lying.
