$10,000 reward as Missy Bevers murder case grows cold

It is being reported on July 1, 2016 that the murder investigation of Missy Bevers has slowed down.  Missy Bevers, 45, was found dead in the early morning hours of April 18, 2016 in Creekside Church in Midlothian, Texas, no arrests have been made.

Kevin Johnson, the assistant police chief in Midlothian, TX stated on Friday that they have obtained cell phone records and released search warrants for the Facebook accounts of Missy and her husband.  It was confirmed earlier that they were having marital and financial troubles at the time Missy was killed.

“Police said they discovered messages on Bevers’ electronic devices that were ‘flirtatious’ and ‘intimate’ in nature . . .”  She may have been having an extramarital affair.  Johnson said that it would take a while for authorities to analyze all of the data.

Missy Bevers, an athletic blonde was found dead by her students around 5 a.m. with puncture wounds on her head and torso.  A surveillance video, released to the public, shows the suspected perpetrator wearing riot gear and walking unevenly.  Police have not been able to determine the gender of the suspect or the identity.

A $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of Bevers’ killer is being offered by Oak Farms Dairy. The reward will remain active for six months.
