The English translation of the Florence Appeal Court’s refusal of compensation to Raffaele Sollecito is out! Raffaele Sollecito had been seeking the full amount possible for what he considered to be his wrongful imprisonment. Raffaele even appeared on BBC where he attempted to explain why he deserved half a million euros on top of the million+ euros he received from two books he wrote and grant he received from the Italian government to start his online business for grave sites. The former murder convict went so far as to criticize the victim’s family for believing the prosecution.
Last month, the Italian courts refused to give Raffaele a single penny. They not only dismissed his claim for more money but also reiterated how guilty he and Amanda Knox are legally for the crime that they were astonishingly acquitted from – the murder of Meredith Kercher.
