NCIS has many divisions staffed by hundreds of agents. One of those divisions is the NCIS Cold Case Homicide Unit (CCHU). My guest today, Joe Kennedy, established the CCHU in 1995. The Unit was the first dedicated Federal-level cold case homicide unit in the nation. The unit's investigation methodology and protocol were developed after extensive research and analysis, and has been recognized by the International Association of Chiefs of Police for quality and excellence.
