On a Saturday night last January 6, 2024, 45-year-old Ryan Ambrosio and 43-year-old Jennifer Ambrosio, a Filipino couple and parents of six children in Michigan, were on their way home from a date night. As they were cruising through the Lodge Freeway near the Civic Center Drive in Southfield at around 1:30 am, a vehicle going the wrong way crashed into them, tragically leading to the demise of Ryan and Jen.The culprit, 35-year-old Angel Melendez-Ortiz, was evading police at the time.
