Youtuber and party girl Verphy Kudi starved her baby to Death. Baby Asiah Kudi, learned nobody would come when she cried. The teen mum walked out on her daughter on a six-day trip to celebrate her 18th birthday. She admitted manslaughter and was jailed for nine years after a court heard her daughter learned nobody would come when she cried. Kudi, now 19, tried to cover up her crime after returning home to find her daughter dead. She spent nearly three hours with her dead baby in their Brighton YMCA flat before dealing 999. Asiah was taken to Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton where she was pronounced dead on December 11, 2019. Verphy Kudi, who grew up in Southwark, walked out on her 20-month-old daughter on the day she turned 18, partying for six days while the baby was at their Brighton flat. Her daughter was dead when she returned to the flat, where she had been housed by social services. A video showing a teenage mother partying while her baby daughter starved to death home alone has been released by police. 'Verphy Kudi misled staff into believing Asiah was with her whilst she was away celebrating her 18thbirthday. Tragically, neither our staff, nor other residents, heard anything to alert them to the fact that Asiah had been left in the flat alone and this continues to impact them deeply". Asiah had contracted influenza and a post-mortem examination concluded she died from neglect. "In pleading guilty, Ms Kudi accepted the terrible judgements she made in leaving her child alone and unprotected for such a protracted period, and accepts the lies she told to friends, family and professionals to cover up her neglect of her daughter and in order to avoid being caught. Kudi was sentenced to nine years imprisonment.
