Equal parts tawdry and tragic, few things titillate true crime fans like murders born of passion do. This week we present two stories which DEFINITELY give love a bad name, both from New Orleans‘ 19th century criminal archives. Special guests are beloved local vocal artist Arsene Delay and funk bassist Charlie Wooton, a pair of actual lovebirds we caged briefly to assess these crimes born of “love.” Sharp-tongued hosts Kimberly and Edward are also joined by Hottest Hell Tours historian and PhD candidate Bond Ruggles as a guest researcher and presenter in an episode you definitely don’t want to skip.
