Anthea had travelled to Brunei to visit her husband, Jeff Hall, who was working as a radiographer for a hospital connected to Brunei’s royal family. The couple had planned to relocate there permanently.Just days after her arrival, Anthea was found murdered in the apartment where Jeff was living. She had been strangled and stabbed, and to this day, no one has been charged with her death. Despite mounting questions, inconsistencies in the timeline and a coronial report naming Jeff Hall as the only suspect, the case remains unsolved.
