Bardstown Part II

On July 3, 2015, Crystal Rogers and Brooks Houck visited his family's farm before returning home. The next morning, Crystal was gone. Brooks claimed he last saw her the night before, but he did not report her missing. On July 5, Crystal's mother, Sherry Ballard, reported her disappearance. That same day, Crystal’s father, Tommy Ballard, found her abandoned car with her belongings inside.   Brooks Houck was quickly suspected and questioned by police, but his brother Nick Houck, a Bardstown Police Officer, advised him to end the interview. Despite the evidence, progress stalled until August 2016.   Tragedy struck again when Tommy Ballard was fatally shot while hunting with his grandson. Authorities found no substantial evidence, but Tommy had suspected he was being watched due to his relentless search for Crystal.   Little progress has been made, but the cases remain unsolved, shrouded in mystery and suspicion.
