654. Excessive Force: OKC Police vs Lich Vu
Lich Vu had a mouth on him. The problem was his mouth was 70 years old. A tiny Asian man with bone cancer, Vu was willing to go jail rather than sign a citation for a traffic violation in October. So often habitual criminals choose to decide their fate at the time of arrest through flight and resistance. In Vu's case, he touched the officer. Instead of picking up another charge, like say, simple assault on an LEO, the officer pick Vu up, flipped him over and put him down on the ground like a hyper combo from Street Fighter II. Vu lost consciousness and was admitted to the hospital with brain bleeding, and a neck injur that prevents him from eating, drinking and taking medication orally.
