Last Month Chicago Police Officers responded to a weapons violation call. Suspect was identified as 50-year-old Joseph Navarro, wanted for an aggravated battery. Navarro fled from the area and crashed his vehicle across the state line in Indiana. Officers caught up to him and were fired upon. Chaos reigned in the confrontation as Navarro refused to surrender. He was struck multiple times and was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The two officers were injured but are okay.
