From the Alex Murdaugh trial’s alleged jury tampering and subsequent appeals; investigations into the deaths of Stephen Smith and Mica Francis (Miller), examining potential foul play; and the ongoing legal battles surrounding Bowen Turner and Michael Colucci, both facing multiple accusations of serious crimes — we covered a lot of cases and controversies in 2024. Also this year, we added tragic death of Christa Bauer Gilley to our focus, and continued to focus on advocacy for victims' rights reform, specifically concerning coercive control.
