He was the former President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and, along with other leaders, started a deadly war that I hadn’t even heard of but was a living nightmare for those unfortunate enough to live there. Genocide, forcible deportation, murder, racial and religious persecution, inhumane acts, imprisonment, torture and extermination.
