Mother's Day as far as anyone is concerned is the most special holiday of the year next to Christmas. A day to show appreciation, thanks, and love to the woman that gave you life. And if you are a mother it is the day you plan to relax, receive gifts, and dress up for a night out. On May 10th 2015, Kedena Brown-Vanderhorst having just left her family Mother's Day Celebration and making her way home in her Chrysler 300 a little before 2am. Likely a mixture exhaustion and excitement of planned festivities she would have with her husband and three children later that day. But Kedena would never make it home that night, her life was lost in a matter of seconds due to being caught in the middle of case of "mistaken" identity.
