According to Russell’s young son, who witnessed the fight, the brothers attacked his father and left him for dead. Russell would soon go missing and nothing would be solved for seven whole years, when the brothers were tried for his murder and found guilty. The brothers proclaimed innocence, and somehow, a miracle occurred when their deceased brother-in-law showed up… very much alive.
