Laura Lopera: The Manhunt for Jesse Wiseman

In this episode we dive into the murder of 20-year-old Laura Lopera. Colombian authorities have named Canadian Jesse Gilbert Wiseman as the prime suspect in the murder. Laura's body was found in a suitcase in Jesse Wiseman's Medellín apartment. The pair met on a dating app, and Wiseman left Colombia for Guatemala shortly before the body was discovered. The crime has sparked outrage, with preliminary investigations suggesting Lopera died on February 4, 2024. Wiseman's behaviour and verbal threats have raised concerns about potential abuse.
