Borley Rectory, known as "the most haunted house in England," has fascinated people for years with its eerie reputation. Built-in 1862 in Borley, Essex, the rectory quickly became famous for strange and frightening events. These included mysterious footsteps, ghostly figures, unexplained voices, and objects moving alone. The most well-known ghost was a nun who was said to have been punished for breaking her vows and was often seen wandering the grounds.
