On April 21, 2011, police would discover the bodies of Agnès Dupont de Ligonnès, her four children Arthur, Thomas, Anne, and Benoît, and their two Labrador dogs buried in the back garden of their family home at 55 Boulevard Schuman in Nantes Loire-Atlantique, France. Agnes's husband, Xavier, was nowhere to be found.This was a picture perfect family stemming from nobility and Catholicism. They were full of personality and intelligence. They were well known and involved in their community. But throughout the investigation into these murders, it became apparent to police this family had deep and troubling secrets. In the coming weeks, Xavier would become the prime suspect in murders.
