On October 4, 1978 the body of a young female would be found along a rural road in Lyon County, Iowa. She was badly decomposed, partially clothed, and had been bound with rope. She was labeled a Jane Doe and the case quickly turned cold. She wouldn’t be identified until 28 years later in 2006.
