Hello and welcome back! We’re kicking off spooky season with an incredibly odd tale. In late 1896, 23-year-old Zona Heaster Shue was found dead in her home. In the immediate aftermath, her husband’s strange behavior was dismissed and Zona was buried with almost no questions asked. Within weeks of her death however, Zona’s mother was visited by the ghost of her daughter who informed her that she was murdered. From there, the case went to trial and believe it or not, the testimony of Zona’s ghost came into play in a major way. Buckle up for this one, y’all.
