At around 6 AM on June 13th, 1977, a counselor at the Camp Scott Girl Scout Camp in Mayes County, Oklahoma, was making her way to the camp’s showers, which were on the opposite side of the grounds from the counselors’ tent. It was early morning the first day of camp, and the showers were just in front of tent #8, the seventh and final camper tent in the Kiowa unit of the camp. As the counselor walked to the other end of the camp grounds, she saw a sleeping bag in a wooded area just outside of the tent area. This was odd, as the girls should all have been sleeping inside of their tents. She thought it was possible the busses had dropped off some additional luggage, but this would have been a strange place to leave it all. As she got closer, it was clear that there was a girl laying to the side of the sleeping bag, nude and partially on the pathway, and she was deceased.Follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads: @housewifediditpod Check out our website and merch at https://the-housewife-did-it.square.siteWe have an exciting opportunity for EVRY-one!
