HAUNTED: Lizzie Borden House

On August 4, 1892, Andrew and Abby Borden were murdered in their home at 92 Second Street in Fall River, Massachusetts.  The murders became national news, and the suspect was Andrew’s very own daughter, Lizzie Borden. Though Lizzie was found innocent, what really happened to Andrew and Abby is still a mystery. The home where their gruesome murders occured is still standing today, and it is a bed and breakfast that also offers tours.  Since opening the house up to the public, there have been many accounts of ghostly activity inside of the home.  Numerous people have reported strange or unusual experiences.  In a house with such a dark past, the idea that ghosts may be lingering there is not unexpected and it turns out, the murder of Andrew and Abby Borden is not the only unsettling bit of history that has taken place on Second Street.
