June 18, 2023 was supposed to be a great day for Stockton Rush. He was piloting his Titan submersible down to see the wreckage of the RMS Titanic with Paul-Henri Nargeolet and three paying crewmembers aboard; Hamish Harding as well as Shahzada and Suleman Dawood. The three had paid a total of $750,000 for the opportunity. Rush wanted to get people down to the depths to feel the excitement he did whenever he went.
