Kim Wall was a 30 year old Swedish journalist who wrote about topics such as identity, gender, pop-culture, social justice, and foreign policy for a number of news outlets. On August 10th 2017, the night she disappeared, Kim and her boyfriend were having a party. Kim left the party to conduct an interview for Wired magazine about an eccentric Danish inventor, Peter Madsen, who built his own submarine and had plans to launch himself into space.
