In this episode of Unexplained Arkansas, your host Lisa and guest host this week, Dorothy-Lisa's awesome sis-in -law, will discuss The Ghost Town of Bruno Arkansas. So, Bruno, Arkansas, is stated as a "Ghost" town of Arkansas. In the 1800's Bruno boasted many thriving businesses and up to 600 + people in the community. Bruno even had a school district up into the 1970's. After 1974 or so, the Bruno school was consolidated and moved. Over the next 50 years the town would shrink and presently the town has a church and a cemetery. The last 3-4 miles of the Ten Mile Creek are known to the locals as Ten Mile Creek Bottoms--this is where these supernatural stories come from and are based in around the 1800's before there were automobiles or asphalt roads.Listen to the full episode to uncover the history of the area and an abandoned home we searched while visiting the town. Also, we did meet a few new friends in town--one specifically is the United Realtor Buddy Bebout.
