In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa will discuss the sad and strangely mysterious death of Ellen Greenberg.On January 26, 2011, Ellen Greenberg would be found dead in her apartment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that she shared with her fiance. Ellen's death is at first ruled as a homicide by the Philadelphia Medical Examiner Dr. Marlon Osborne; however, the Philadelphia Police Department decide that lack of an intruder made the scene look like a suicide; even though Ellen sustained twenty stab wounds --many of which, were to the back of her neck and head area.The Philadelphia ME would change the manner of death to suicide which would lead Ellen's parents on a 14 year legal battle with the state of Pennsylvania.
