Harvey Milk was one of the first openly gay elected officials in US History. And while he had tons of support from his constituents and community, there were others that believed he should stay out of politics and stay in the closet. But Harvey was loud, relentless and willing to put his life on the line for the good fight. His life was cut short by someone he knew and even at one time respected, but his legacy has been carried on for decades.
