After Trump was elected in, 2016, we saw what appeared to be organic protests against his administration. These protests picked up steam during his Presidency and the veneer of these protest being grassroots began to peel away. Many of these anti Trump protests also embrace an anti-police narrative. Violence at these protests escalated and police, the most visible presence of the Executive Branch of Government, became the target for the violence. This was a betrayal of Law Enforcement and of the voters. Most of this violence by leftist protestors went unreported, was minimized or in some cases justified by political leaders on the left and the media. As Trump has taken office in 2025, the protests have started yet again. Violence has erupted with the firebombing of Tesla dealerships, assaulting of Tesla owners, and the Swatting of Conservative Influencers. Of course, the Police are caught in the middle yet again. The Non-Profit, Indivisible, credited with resisting Trump in his first term is back at it again. We will explore who started and currently runs this organization, where they get their money, and question whether they truly represent the working class or the powerfully elite.
