Catching Up with Cece Woods

I will be joined by Cece Woods the Editor and Chief of The Current Report. Cece is and investigative reporter in the Los Angeles Area. She recently reported on several controversies or issues impacting the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD). The LASD is the largest Sheriff’s Department in the Country. Anti-Law Enforcement groups have targets the LASD for over a decade regarding Deputy Tattoos. We will review a recently filed lawsuit addressing this issue.A Deputy Sheriff, Trevor Kirk was recently convicted in Federal court for serious charges widely seen as not supported by the evidence. The newly installed US Attorney, Bill Essayli, conducted a review of the case, prior to sentencing. He appealed to the US Federal Court to reduce the conviction from a felony to a misdemeanor. We will discuss this case.Finally, we will discuss the increasing number of Deputy involved suicides.
