Episode 89: John Laurens
Breaking up the spooky of the season with a little bit of history, this episode focus on an unkown founding father John Laurens. John was the son of Henry Laurens one of South Carolina's representives to the first Continental Congress. John was in the room when the Declaration Of Independance was signed. An abolishionist, John believed in freedom not just for whites but for all people. He wanted to lead the first full batalion of freed black men into war. John died during a skirmish after the war and is burried in Moncks Corner, SC (hey wait that's where I live).
