Amongst those was a young girl named Hattie, who went to play at Rock Creek Park with some friends and her older brother. But the water at Rock Creek Park wasn’t safe to swim in and a series of events surrounding this would provide opportunity for Hattie to be placed in danger.  At first, there were leads, tips, and attention. But over time, those leads dried up. And now, nearly 64 years later, the questions remain — with no answers in sight. Something we hope some renewed attention to the case can change. TIPS: 202-576-6768 Thank you to Kicha B. for the case suggestion!!Case suggestions: simplertimecrimepod@gmail.comIG: @simplertimecrimepodYoutube: https://youtube.com/@simplertimecrimepod?si=OlCWQ2Ky8qFaof02TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@simplertimecrimep?_t=8s31x9iCrNv&_r=1Music By Universfield: https://pixabay.com/music/mystery-dramatic-atmosphere-with-piano-and-violin-143149/Sources:  https://www.newspapers.com/article/new-pittsburgh-courier-fbi-hunt-other/174072685/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/washington-afro-american-one-year-later/174072649/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-false-confession-sept-61/174072632/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-hattie-jackson-search-dogge/174072618/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-abduction-suspect/174072564/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-washington-daily-news-hattie-jackson/174072543/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/washington-afro-american-a-year-later-p/174076605/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-hours-fail-to-show-missing/174080894/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-another-abduction-but-which/174080929/https://www.newspapers.com/article/washington-afro-american-2nd-hattie-jack/174081042/https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-police-citizens-search-for/174081540/https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-washington-daily-news-michael-c-murd/174082169/https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-police-hunt-other-witness/174082465/https://www.newspapers.com/article/evening-star-more-observations-from-boys/174083727/https://www.newspapers.com/article/santa-barbara-news-press-ramona-price/174084996/https://www.inquirer.com/crime/philadelphia-boy-box-girl-box-forgotten-20221209.htmlhttps://www.doenetwork.org/cases/4283dfdc.htmlhttps://www.namus.gov/MissingPersons/Case#/18970https://whereaboutsstillunknown.wordpress.com/2013/04/20/hattie-jackson/  https://www.instagram.com/simplertimecrimepod/?hl=enBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/a-simpler-time-true-crime--6665681/support.
