Send us a textOn this podcast, I often share cases filled with mystery — where there are multiple suspects, possible outcomes, and unanswered questions about what happened or who was responsible. But for every one of those cases, there are just as many where both the loved ones of the missing or murdered person and law enforcement feel certain they know what happened — they just don’t have the evidence to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt in court. In the summer of 1999, a Kentucky man takes the day off from work to go on an overnight fishing trip and never comes home. Early signs point to a possible accident while out on the water. But it doesn’t take too long for certain clues to not add up and police announce they are investigating his case as a homicide.   Despite very suspicious circumstantial evidence, nobody has been held accountable for his death and his body has never been found. TIPS:  FBI ViCAP at (800) 634-4097 or vicap@leo.gov or  Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Bowling Green, Kentucky, at (270) 842-1633 Case suggestions: simplertimecrimepod@gmail.comIG: @simplertimecrimepodYoutube: https://youtube.com/@simplertimecrimepod?si=OlCWQ2Ky8qFaof02TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@simplertimecrimep?_t=8s31x9iCrNv&_r=1Music By Universfield: https://pixabay.com/music/mystery-dramatic-atmosphere-with-piano-and-violin-143149/Sources (additional found on newspapers.com.
