This is a story about drug abuse and terrible parenting. It's also a story about what happens to people when they fall down the conspiracy rabbit hole and it takes over their lives. Eldon Samuel Jr. was a bad father. His wife, Tina abandoned the family leaving her two sons, Eldon Samuel III and Jonathan in the care of their father who took the kids from California to live in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. Once the family of three was settled, things only got worse. Eldon was struggling in school and his brother Jonathan, who had special needs, wasn't doing any better. One day Eldon came home from a doctor's appointment and found his father shooting a gun off in the front yard. Eldon dragged his father into the house and a physical fight ensued. As Eldon had been taught to do for years, he defended himself.
