The Chundawat family ran a grocery store in the Burari neighborhood of Delhi, India for about twenty years. They were known for their hard work and ideal family structure so people took notice when the store didnât open promptly on July 1, 2018. Investigations commence and police are horrified to find all eleven family members dead inside the house with their mouths gagged and hands bound. The cause of each of their deathsâ was hanging. Nine were hanging from the ceiling, one hanging from a door frame, and another having been found in a room on the floor. Police were able to confirm this wasnât caused by an intruder and that it seemed self inflicted even though there was no reason for a family of eleven to commit a mass suicide. At least not that they knew of right away.
