During the past week in Colorado Springs, multiple criminal incidents were reported across various neighborhoods. On May 28, near the intersection of W Hwy 24 and S 31st St, officers responded to an alleged theft incident. The case remains under investigation and the police have not released further details. Earlier in the week, on May 26, a traffic accident occurred near the 0 block of N Marksheffel Rd. Emergency crews responded, and the incident is still under review by authorities.In Cimarron Hills, on May 23, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Peterson Rd and Constitution Ave following reports of a hazard. No injuries were reported, and this case has since been closed. On May 22 in the vicinity of the 150 mile marker on I-25 Northbound, a traffic accident was reported, with police confirming no major injuries; the incident status is now closed.Law enforcement responded to a cold theft case in the Black Forest neighborhood near Black Forest Rd on May 22. This incident is ongoing, and police are seeking additional information from the public. Also, on May 22, a welfare check was conducted in the 810 block of Western Dr, Cimarron Hills, with no criminal activity found and the case closed.Police are currently seeking public assistance in locating a suspect involved in an alleged financial device crime in the Colorado Springs area. The suspect, Marcus Theo Hill, is wanted for possession of two or more financial devices and related offenses. Authorities ask anyone with information on Hill's whereabouts to contact the non-emergency police line.The incidents reported this week reflect a range of property crimes, traffic accidents, and proactive welfare checks. There is no clear trend indicating a surge in any specific type of crime over this period.
