This case remains under investigation.On July 23, in the vicinity of North Nevada Avenue and East Fillmore Street, officers were called for an alleged motor vehicle theft. The vehicle was reportedly taken from a commercial parking lot in the early morning hours. No arrests have been announced, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.The evening of July 24 saw an alleged residential burglary in the Briargate neighborhood. According to police reports, entry was gained through an unlocked back door, and electronics were taken from the premises. The investigation is ongoing.In the Downtown area, near Tejon and Kiowa, a reported strong-arm robbery occurred on July 25. The victim, who was not physically harmed, stated that a male suspect forcibly took personal property before fleeing on foot. Officers continue to seek public assistance in this case.Also on July 25, a disturbance in the Citadel Mall area was classified as alleged disorderly conduct, resulting in the temporary detainment of several individuals. This incident has been closed with no further action anticipated.The afternoon of July 26, reports came in from the Old Colorado City sector regarding alleged criminal mischief after surveillance footage captured damage to a parked vehicle. There are currently no suspects. The case is open and under review.In the Powers neighborhood during the early morning of July 27, police investigated a case of alleged vandalism at a local business near Powers Boulevard and Barnes Road. Graffiti was discovered on the building, and officers are in the process of reviewing area surveillance.Throughout the week, case numbers for these incidents have not yet been publicly released by the Colorado Springs Police Department.
