Upon arrival, police investigated an alleged assault. One subject was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; no arrests have been made and the case remains open.As the week came to a close, patrol units in the Southwest reported a suspected arson at a vacant lot just after midnight Friday night. Firefighters extinguished a small blaze believed to be intentionally set. No structures were damaged.
