Police helicopter crews located 39-year-old Michael Jacobs near a creek holding a hatchet and arrested him. Officers recovered the weapon from the creek and a pellet gun from Jacobs' vehicle. Two other individuals with Jacobs were questioned and released. Jacobs faces charges including assault with a deadly weapon after prior felony conviction, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.In August, a sexual assault occurred in the wooded area of Hunter Park. The female victim was walking when approached by a male suspect who allegedly attacked and sexually assaulted her. On Tuesday September 16th, police arrested 42-year-old Brent Allen Reamy on one count of rape by instrumentation. Officers had encountered Reamy shortly after the August assault near 91st and Yale, noting his unusual behavior at the time. The victim later identified Reamy in a photo lineup.Both cases involved attacks on individuals walking through Tulsa parks during evening hours.
