Near 6th Street and Boston, police responded to a break-in at the DGX store late on October 9th. The men, identified as Kyle Silk and Kortlin Harmon, later died from their injuries. Guerrero’s ex-girlfriend reported being forced into the vehicle after Guerrero allegedly stalked and harassed her at his home. She sustained a broken hand and other minor injuries. Witness statements and police reports indicate Guerrero was driving erratically, drinking heavily, and had fired a gun in the air earlier in the evening. Guerrero was arrested on October 10th for two counts of 2nd Degree Murder, Kidnapping, Stalking, Reckless Driving, Speeding, and Failure to Stop at a Red Light. Results from a blood test are pending and may result in further charges.
