On May 14, around 8:30 p.m., a shooting occurred in the parking lot of a grocery store near South Havana Street. Responding officers located two male victims with gunshot wounds; one was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. A third victim, a 46-year-old woman, arrived at a nearby hospital by private vehicle, also with a gunshot wound. The incident began with an altercation in the parking lot. The Aurora Police Department’s Major Crimes Homicide Unit has identified two suspects, Hee Dah Weh (24) and Latrayvon Dashen Bullard (23), both of Aurora. Arrest warrants have been issued for first-degree murder. Both suspects remain at large and the case is under active investigation. During the encounter, an officer-involved shooting occurred, resulting in a fatality. This incident is currently under investigation by the department's internal review processes and the Major Crimes Unit.No further significant violent incidents were publicly reported by Aurora Police during the period reviewed.Recent department updates indicate that property crime rates in Aurora have shown a decrease compared to previous periods, according to official communications.
