Henderson Police responded last week to several reported criminal incidents throughout the city. No arrests have been made, and the case is open.Thursday night in the Whitney Ranch area, two vehicles were reportedly broken into in a parking lot. According to police, both incidents involved smashed windows and personal belongings taken from the vehicles. Henderson Police are seeking public assistance to identify a male suspect described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches, of medium build, wearing a dark hoodie and jeans at the time of the incidents. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Henderson Police.Friday in the Anthem Highlands vicinity, officers responded to a call regarding a disturbance and found evidence of alleged vandalism to a parked vehicle. No suspects have been identified. The vandalism incident is under active investigation.Late Saturday, a report came in from the Lake Las Vegas area regarding an alleged assault during a dispute between two parties. Medical aid was rendered on scene and both individuals declined to pursue charges at this time. No further police action was taken.Sunday afternoon near Stephanie Street and Horizon Ridge Parkway, officers stopped a vehicle for observed erratic driving and discovered the driver allegedly in possession of a controlled substance. The driver was taken into custody. The case number was not made available by authorities.Throughout the week, minor incidents of property damage and shoplifting were also logged in various retail corridors, though no suspects have been identified in those cases and all remain under investigation.Officers noted an increase in vehicle break-ins concentrated in public parking lots late at night, with electronics and personal bags being the most commonly stolen items.
