17: The MAD Cat Artist: Louis Wain

In today's episode we talk about the story of Louis Wain, a painter in the late 1800s to 1930s who was known for his very stylistic approach to drawing cats. Louis Wain began to become so obsessed with cats that he even changed the way society viewed cats. As his mental health declined, his portrayal of cats began to change. Cats that went from looking like..cats soon began to shift into something abstract. Many speculate whether his cats changed due to his schizophrenia or was it just his stylistic expression?
