The body of Abiyah Yasharahyalah lay undiscovered in the back garden of a house in Birmingham for two years. His post-mortem was inconclusive however at the time of his death, Abiyah was suffering from several serious health conditions. His parents have subsequently been jailed for their part in his death.  Last month, in June 2025, Birmingham Safeguarding Children Partnership released the Child Safeguarding Practice Review into the circumstances around his life and death.
