In this episode Em tells us about the tragic events of The Hungerford Massacre where a lone shooter left an idyllic picturesque quiet town in England looking like something out of a war zone. The actions inflicted by one man on a normal summer’s day would leave sixteen people dead, many more wounded, a community in terror and a nation asking “how come something like this happen in a place like that, and why wasn’t it able to be stopped sooner?” This case was by all accounts a tragedy however whilst the motives behind it are still heavily debated to this day it did make major changes to gun laws in the UK.
