Ep 14 Part 1: The Mysterious Disappearance of Maura Murray

Maura Murray was a 21 year old nursing student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst when she packed a bag, brought some alcohol and headed to New Hampshire on 9th February 2004. Just after 7pm that evening Maura crashed her car into a snow bank, where damage to the car caused it to be inoperable. Local neighbours form as witnesses, with one neighbour stopping to speak to Maura and offering to call the police. The police arrived to the scene around 20 minutes after the first call, but Maura has disappeared. The car is empty, the doors are locked and she is no where to be seen.Her family are made aware of her disappearance, and as her boyfriend is flying to Haverhill, he receives a voicemail of a girl crying who he believes is Maura, however, the call was traced to the American Red Cross.
