Dr. Mohamed Ahmed El-Ghareeb was a well-known endocrinology professor whose life took a dark turn in 2010. After losing a large sum of money in a scam by a dealer named Mohamed Mokhtar, he hatched a revenge plan with his longtime assistant, Mohamed Abdel Latif. They lured Mokhtar to an abandoned clinic, shot him, then dismembered and burned the body, using the professor’s medical expertise to try to erase every trace. Forensic specialists rebuilt the victim’s face from skull fragments and concluded that someone with advanced anatomical knowledge had committed the crime. This trail of evidence led straight back to El-Ghareeb and Abdel Latif, both of whom were convicted and sentenced to death.Produced by:https://www.podcaistudio.com/
