Daphne Slits becomes winter caretaker at the isolated Underblind Hotel in Scotland, hoping to cure her relationship. She settles in along with her boyfriend, Eric, and the hotel's other residents. Over time, Daphne discovers the hotel's dark secrets and Eric begins to unravel into a homicidal maniac hell-bent on terrorising whoever gets in his way.
